Do you care enough for yourself?

Self-care is an important part of our health and one we can easily forget about or push to the side, especially with our busy lives or when we are trying to please everyone else around us. Here are our top 10 tips to start taking care of you!

·         Get enough quality sleep

·         What is time out for you? Beauty treatments, reading a book, a walk on the beach

·         Say ‘ no’ more often to others, and ‘yes’ more often to you

·         Keep a journal to help balance emotional health

·         Eat plenty of fresh, fruit and vegetables, organic where you can, otherwise just head to the local markets

·         Drink plenty of water, minimum of 2 to 3 liters and more if exercising

·         Bring your body out of fight/flight mode and into rest/relax mode by receiving a Reiki treatment, or by taking up a yoga or meditation class

·         Practice good hygiene, because you care!

·         Build a sense of belonging and grounding by doing something you enjoy daily. This could be as simple as making more effort to see a friend

·         Dry Body Brush before your shower to stimulate your lymphatic system and brush away those toxins (and imagine those negative influences or thoughts disappearing too!)

ACTUALLY - 10 just isnt enough; Create a herb garden or get out in the garden! Breathe in the fresh air.
